The world today is full of ups and downs, everything is going the
other way round but it takes a man with clear sight and vision to cut through
the gross and head to a higher point of glory.
The story of a man devoid of understanding who live in a hut with his wife and no food. The kids were hungry day in and day out but no food to feed them. The mother of the man traveled all the way from Ilorin to Kaduna just to see how her son and his family was faring.
The shocking news of it all is that he has just lost his job and no job keeps coming up, everything seems dark and fruitless, his dreams chattered, hope thrown to the wind and cares gone.
One day his first daughter cried unto him, 'Papa!, my friend Lare came around with her father in their brand new motor car and I felt really sad and jealous for her. When are we going to get our own motor car?' The father looked at her in deep amazement but dumb founded, he said, 'God's time is the best my daughter'.
With a big grin, the daughter replied, 'dad, you always keep saying that but nothing seems to happen, am tired and really do not want to live this way most especially when I see my friends family excelling but you are not'.
The pain and agony of poverty touched him in between his soul and divided his heart asunder. He cried deep down his heart but could not let a single tear pour down as a stream from his eyes. 'My daughter', he replied, 'God's time is the best'.
Days went on by and by and still nothing seems to happen, then suddenly he had a vision that someday he is going to be God's general but he could not comprehend and said to himself, 'why me of all people to become God's general? Among those that go to church or even seat at the front seat in church, am the least of them all. Besides I can't speak very well, so how am I able to become this leading millions of people around the world with divine presence?'
He beat his chest three times and nod his head over seven times, sat down on a little chair just by the corner and have a rethink of the availability of data that just hit his brain, wondering what it just meant to become God's general.
Life's fruitless game cut him unawares and he felt really bad that he can't do anything. Nevertheless, he kept hope alive even when all hope seems hopeless. It is said that they that first see before doing, are never dumb founded when the pains later becomes the gain. So confused on what to do but still yet he kept hope alive.
Adaku!, He called out to his wife, 'please get me a pen and some paper'. He sat down so comfortably and decided to write his vision down. In about ten years time, he became God's general and lived ever so happy with his family.
