Step 1: Log on to www.konga.com and wait for the page to load.

Yogurt is a nutritional food produced when milk is left to ferment by a bacteria called 'Yogurt cultures'. Fermentation of lactose by these bacteria produces what is known as 'lactic acid', this acts on the milk protein to give yogurt its thickness. Below are some of the steps you could use to prepare that delicious yogurt ice cream you ever wanted to prepare but before that, lets quickly take a closer look at some of the ingredients to get you started.

Ingredients for Preparing Yogurt.

Milk, Nonfat, Lowfat or whole (4 cups), Plain yogurt with active cultures (2 tablespoons).        
       
  





























Now lets take a look at the steps to preparing this wonderful treat.

Step 1: Place two heat proof glass pint jars in a large pot and cover them with water.

Step 2: Apply medium heat to the pot and allow it to boil.

Step 3: Reduce the heat and allow to simmer, leaving the jars in the water to sterilize them while you go ahead to prepare the milk.

Step 4: Allow the milk just below to boil for about 180 to 1900F and put in a medium sized saucepan.

Step 5: Remove from heat and cool to about 1100F.

Step 6: Whisk the yogurt into the scalded milk.

Step 7: Remove the sterilized jars from the simmering water and set them on a countertop.

Step 8: Pour the scalded milk into the jars and seal the jars with tight fitting lids.

Step 9: Set the jars in a warm, protected place for about 6 to 8 hours to allow milk culture and thicken. This can be done in several ways.

Step 10: Allow the yogurt to thicken after which you can refrigerate and store for up to two weeks.

How to Open a Twitter Account?

Twitter is an online social networking platform that allows registered users to read and send short messages of about 140 characters called tweets. Twitter Inc is located in San Francisco and has more than 25 offices around the world. Registered users can access it through their website, SMS  or mobile device applications.

Below are the steps you could use to open a twitter account.

Step 1: Log on to www.twitter.com and wait for the page to come up, type in your name, valid email, and a unique password,  then click on 'Sign up for Twitter' as shown below.


Step 2: A new page appears, type in your unique username in the box provided, tick the little box, and 'Sign up' button to continue.


Step 3: A page comes up informing you that your account is been created, be patient and wait for the next page to appear.


Step 4: Select your country and type in your phone number, when you are done, click 'Verify phone number' as shown below.


Step 5: Check your phone for confirmation code sent to the number you provided above and type the code in the verification box provided and click on 'Verify' as shown below.


Step 6: You would receive an activation message on your phone stating your phone number have been activated and a new page pops up, click 'Let's go!' as shown below.


Step 7: Chose your area of interest by ticking the boxes by the side of it, then click 'Continue' when you are through.


Step 8: Chose from the list, already registered twitter users you would like to follow, click the continue button to proceed.


Step 9: Wait a little for the 'Customize your Profile' page to come up, you can chose to drag your photos from your system or phone or take a photo and click 'Continue' or just click on 'Skip this step for now' if you wish to do it later as shown below.


Step 10: The next step is to find people you know using different platforms like AOL, Outlook, Yahoo or Gmail. If you wish to do that later, click 'Skip this Step' to continue.

Step 11: This last step consist of a list of people you may also like to follow, tick on the ones you want to follow and continue to 'Sign up' fully.


Note: You must activate your account by logging in to your email address and clicking on the 'Confirmation link' from twitter before you can fully make use of your account.

How to Open a Yahoo mail Account?

The Yahoomail is a platform used for sending emails or online mails to loved ones, family and friends as well as business associates and to reach out to a large audience through mails. It contains a very robust features for performing the above tasks. Below are some of the steps you could use to open a Yahoomail account.

How to Prepare your Favorite Edikang ikong Soup?



Edikang Ikong soup is a deliciously prepared rich African vegetable soup commonly served as a top delicacy during very important occasions. It is mostly eaten by the Akwa Iboms and the Calabars of southern part of Nigeria.

Some of the ingredients for preparing the dish are listed below;
  • 1Kg of assorted meat (this could be either beef, oxtail, bokoto and bush meat).
  • 4 snails properly washed with lime or lemon juice.
  • 450g of stock fish that has been soaked.
  • 450g of dried fish that has been thoroughly washed.
  • 450g of periwinkles properly topped and tailed.
  • 225g whole dried prawns properly cleaned.
  • 225g of grinned crayfish.
  • 1 medium sized onion.
  • 1.35g of fresh ugwu pumpkin leaves washed and shredded.
  • 1Kg of fresh water leaf properly washed and prepared.
  • 200ml of palm oil.
  • 600ml/1pt of stock.
  • Salt to taste.
Lets go further to look at some of the steps you could use to prepare your delicious edikang ikong soup.

Step 1: Wash the meat thoroughly and put in a large pot.

Step 2: Add some sliced onions, grinned chillies and some stock.

Step 3: Allow to cook for about 30 minutes.

Step 4: Remove the snail from its shell and wash, after which you rub the body with lime or lemon juice to remove slime.

Step 5: Wash the smoked dry fish with salt and soak in slightly salted water for about 5 minutes to kill any bacteria and remove any sand. Make sure you rinse very well with lots of water.

Step 6: Top and tail the periwinkles and wash very well.

Step 7: Add your snails, stock fish, dry fish, dry prawns and periwinkles to the pot of meat.

Step 8: Allow to cook for another 10 minutes, adding more stock if required.

Step 9: Add your shredded ugwu pumpkin leaves and water leaf and mix properly.

Step 10: Allow to simmer for 15 minutes, then add your crayfish and palm oil.

Step 11: Stir very well and allow to simmer for another 10 minutes until it is properly mixed and its unique aroma fills the kitchen.

Step 12: Remove from heat and serve hot with fufu and pounded yam.

How to Prepare Ogbono Soup?


Ogbono soup is a nutritional Nigerian dish made with grinned ogbono seeds, water, oil, leaf vegetables, seasonings and meat. It is a popular dish and very easy to prepare.

Below are some the ingredients you can use to prepare this dish.
  • 1Kg of asdsorted meats.
  • 450g of grinned ogbono seed.
  • 225g/80oz grinned crayfish.
  • 25g grinned pepper.
  • 25g of iru.
  • 1 medium sized onion.
  • 290ml palm oil.
  • 3pt stock or water.
  • Salt to taste.
Now lets look at a method and steps you could use to prepare your delicious ogbono soup.

Step 1: Wash the assorted meat thoroughly and put in a pot.

Step 2: Add your sliced onions, grinned chilles, some stock or water and cook for about 30 minutes.

Step 3: Add your washed smoked fish and stock fish and cook for another 10 to 15 minutes, adding  a drop of water or stock as needed to stop it from burning.

Step 4: With a clean pot, heat the oil and fry the grinned seeds for about 3 minutes to bring out the nutty flavour.

Step 5: Gradually add the stock and whisk until it draws and bubbles.

Step 6: Add your properly cooked meat, pepper and cray fish.

Step 7: Dissolve locust bean in a little stock and add to the soup.

Step 8: Allow to simmer for another 10 minutes and add salt.

Step 9: Serve hot with pounded yam.

Afang(Okazi) Soup tastes very delicious, learn how to prepare it




The Afang soup is a traditional Nigerian stew made from the leaves of the forest plant Cnetum africanum, popularly called afang or okazi soup. It is very nutritional and nourishing and mostly eaten by the Igbo people in the Eastern parts of Nigeria.

Some of the ingredients used for preparing this soup are listed below;
  • 1Ib meat cleaned and cut into small sized pieces.
  • 1 hot chille pepper.
  • 1 full sized onions.
  • Periwinkles.
  •  2 pieces of dried fish.
  • 2Ib of afang leaves cleaned and pounded with a mortal and pestle.
  • 1Ib water leaf washed thoroughly with water and sliced into pieces.
  • 1 cup of pounded dried prawn.
  • 1 cup of red palm oil.
  • Stock fish.
Now lets look at some of the steps you could use to prepare this dish.

Step 1: Get a clean pot, wash, clean the stock fish properly and boil for some minutes.

Step 2: Add already seasoned and boiled meat and simmer for 5 minutes.

Step 3: Add your onion and chilles pepper, reduce heat and cover to simmer.

Step 4: Bring a few cups of slightly salted water in a separate pan and boil.

Step 5: Place the periwinkles in the boiling water, cover and cook for about 5 minutes.

Step 6: Remove snails from water, use a small fork to remove the snails from their shells.

Step 7: Rinse the snail meat in cool water, drain and sprinkle with lime or lemon juice.

Step 8: Add properly washed periwinkles, dried fish and water leaf to the pot of stock fish. Cover and simmer for several minutes.

Step 9: Add your pounded afang leaves with crushed dried prawns, add palm oil and simmer for about 5 minutes till the leaves are completely soft and tender.

Step 10: Serve hot with fufu, pounded yam or eba.

How to Prepare Banga Soup?

Banga soup is a delicious soup gotten from the sauce of squeezed palm fruit botanically known as Elaeis guineensis. It is incredibly rich in nutritional value.

Lets take a look at some of the ingredients used in preparing this soup.

Ingredients for Preparing Banga Soup:
  • 500g/ 1Ib assorted parts of meat.
  • 225g/8oz stock fish that has been soaked.
  • 225g/8oz bush meat properly washed.
  • 1kg/2Ib  oil palm nuts.
  • 225g/8oz grounded crayfish.
  • 1pt stock of water.
  • 225g/8oz grinned melon.
  • 100g/4oz grinned pepper.
  • 1 onion properly sliced.
  • Salt to taste.
Below are the Methods and steps you could use to prepare banga soup.


Step1: lace the washed meat in a large pot, add a drop of water or stock season with salt and grinned pepper.

Step 2: Boil for about 30 minutes or until its tender.

Step 3: Add the smoked fish and stock fish and cook for another 10 minutes.

Step 4: Prepare the oil palm nut to extract the oil by boiling the washed nuts for about 20 minutes until it is soft.

Step 5: Remove from water and pound the nuts using a mortar to extract the oil.

Step 6: Pass through a sieve to seperate the palm kernels from the chaff.

Step 7: Pour the strained pulp into the meat together with the sliced pepper, onions, tomatoes, puree and grinned melon.

Step 8: Sprinkle the crayfish and cook for 15 minutes until the water in the soup is fairly reduced and the soup thickened.

Step 9: Add your salt to taste and ensure you do not add too much salt to it.

Step 10: Serve with starch (usin by the Urhobos in southern part of Nigeria) or  pounded yam (Iyan).

Note: Freshly washed bitter leaf could also be added to make the dish palatable.

How to Prepare Bitter Leaf (Onugbu) Soup?

 Bitter leaf soup is a wonderful delicacy prepared with freshly washed  leaf of the plant called Vernonia amygdaline. It is properly eaten by the Igbo people of Eastern part of Nigeria.

Below is some of the steps you could use to prepare this dish, but first lets look at some of the ingrdedients used.

Ingredients used for Preparing Bitter Leaf Soup
  • Freshly plucked bitter leaf
  • Cocoyam (thickener)
  • Crayfish (grounded)
  • Dried fish 
  • Fresh meat
  • Fresh pepper
  • Maggi
  • Onions
  • Red oil
  • Salt
  • Stock fish
Now lets look at the method to use below;


Step 1: Wash the bitter leaf for about 15 to 20 minutes with water, you can put small in your mouth to ensure that the bitter taste has been reduced.

Step 2: Peel off and boil the cocoyam for about 20 minutes till it gets soft.

Step 3: Pound the cocoyam in a mortar and add some palm oil in measured quantities till it form paste.

Step 4: Wash your stock fish with hot water and your beef properly washed.

Step 5: Add seasonings to beef, dried fish, stock fish, and boil together for at least 20 minutes until it becomes soft and tender.

Step 6: Add water periodically to ensure you have enough meat stock.

Step 7: Add your cocoyam paste in measured quantities to the pot of meat and fish, add some pepper as well.

Step 8: Allow to simmer for 15 minutes and keep stirring as you add your cocoyam paste till you have the desired thickness.

Step 9: Add salt to taste and stir properly.

Step 10: Serve with pounded yam or hot eba/garri.
