MORAL:

Most times the truth is hard to receive and people would prefer to listen to and accept a lie than the truth because it appeals to their sense of reasoning than the truth. The truth is always 'bitter' but it sets free. You may want to ask, 'What is truth?' The dictionary meaning of truth is 'a fact or a belief that is accepted as true' but I see it as whatever sets one free from bondage which is the opposite of a lie.

 

One major difference between truth and lie is that most times a lie is received with gladness in the short run but later on it damages and keep in bondage whoever accepts it but truth is difficult to accept in the short run but in the long run, it sets free and revive he that receives it.

The world today is full of lies told by people to confuse others for selfish reasons but it takes a man of understanding to do away with lies and accept the truth no matter how 'heart piercing' it may be. Lie is usually painted to suit the ears of the listener but truth most times is not refined and comes as 'it is' basis and that is the reason why so many people dread the truth and prefer to listen to lies instead.

In conclusion, always learn to accept the truth no matter how difficult it is to accept it and one of the ways you can do that is studying God's word, meditating and doing what it tells you to do because his word is truth and 'You will know the truth and the truth will set you free". John 8:32.

Do not be too hasty to live life without a purpose otherwise you will end up sinking like the Titanic.

Life is full of lots of distractions that seeks for your attention in order to keep you in detention but with purpose you can stay focus at where you are heading to, ignoring every sign of distraction on the way to get to your destination in life. A wise man once said, 'more people fail through lack of purpose than lack of talent'. That is to say, no matter how intelligent, creative or talented you are, if you have no purpose, you will surely end up a failure. There are some very intelligent people in your means who graduated with very good grades in college but are still struggling to make ends meet, whereas there are those who others think to be the dullest in class but are making tremendous progress in life. The difference between both is purpose.

In conclusion, man, woman, boy, girl should have a purpose no matter who you are, where you from or what you do, because without it, your life would be meaningless and would be tossed to and fro by the wind of circumstance.

MORAL:

Goals are like compasses, that directs you on what to do and what not to do in order to meet your desired results in life. A man without a goal is as helpless as a car with no one to drive it. Goals are what differentiate success from failures and without one having definite goals, living might just be a waste.

The difference between man and the animal in the bush is the ability of man to set down goals for himself, by so doing he is able to control his life, actions and purpose in life, no other animal does this which makes man superior to other animals. A goal should always be a dream with a deadline attached to it; a goal without deadline is merely a dream.

No matter who you are or the profession you are into, endeavor to set goals with deadline for yourself if you must succeed at what you do because without it, you will not get a desirable result at what you do. Below I am going to show you what each alphabet of the word GOAL means.

G: This stands for GO, that is you should decide in your mind what is it you want out of life or in your profession and 'Go' for that thing without any form of delay. The best time to do that is NOW.

O: This stands for ORGANIZATION. You must try as much as possible to arrange your goals (if they are more than one) in a sequential and orderly manner based on priority and scale of preference. The things that are of great importance to you should come at the top of the list while those of less importance can remain at the bottom. Organization is key in setting of goals, because if you are not organize, you will still not get favourable results at the end of the day. Also make sure your goals are written and clearly defined.

A: This stands for ATTAINABILITY. Your goals should be attainable, that is they should be realistic based on your present level. Do not get me wrong, all things are possible including the goals you set but some goal may seem unrealistic at a particular stage of your development. Take for example, you have not been to any school of Medicine and your first goal is to be employed as a medical doctor next week, that is actually an unrealistic goal and it is not attainable. What is attainable in this case is you going to school of Medicine first of all, graduate, before you can think of being employed as a medical doctor. In life you must start from some where, you don't just get to the top of a building without a staircase or a lift.

L: This stands for LIMIT. Your goal should have a well defined time limit between setting a goal and accomplishment of that goal. A goal without a time limit is merely a wish. You must state the time you want that goal to be accomplished and should be realistic. For example, you want to become the managing director of your company in the next four years, you can simply state 'In the year 2020, I will become the managing director of 'ABK Company'', and you start working towards its attainment starting from NOW.

Selling is very vital in all areas of life that regards to money and finance, this is so true because no matter the profession you find yourself, someone needs to buy into what you have to offer. Take for example, if you are an engineer, you will need to convince me your employer to hire you by showcasing and selling that skill you have as an engineer before you can think of me hiring you as part of my staff.

In business, the most important tool for financial growth and prosperity is sales, how marketable and sell able is your business to your clients and customers, what makes it unique and drags people to petronise you instead of the next shop across the road, it all depends on your selling skills, without it, you can hardly go far or succeed in any business or profession.

If any company should decide to close its sales for a whole month, watch what happens to everyone in that company, both the engineer, the accountant and  every other worker would start complaining and this may result to temporary or permanent shut down of the company because of lack of sales and finance, that company cannot strive.

In conclusion, as an individual, a company or firm, always endeavour to work tirelessly on your sale and marketable skill, if it will cost you to invest in selling skill acquisition or hiring of highly trained professional sales men and women in your company, do so to reap the benefits of increase sales and more finance in the long run. Never forget, sales is life blood of any business.

The road to success is very narrow and full of a lot of distractions from every corner along the way, there are people and things trying to gain your attention so they can put you in detention, it is best not to give in to them and to despise them as much as you can. For example in the course of starting a very profitable business, there are family relations and friends who will say all manner of things to you like, 'look at him, an idiot that does not know what he is doing, when his mates are out there sourcing for a job with very high pay, he is just there fooling himself with one nonsense business idea he has', some may even go extra mile in calling your lots of funny names that are meant to discourage you from focusing on your purpose and goals. My advice for you reading this is to despise those haters as much as you can because if you fail to despise them they will end up ruining your life.

In conclusion, whenever you hear scorners saying all sort of discouraging words about you, simply know that your hour of fulfillment is at the corner, despise them as quickly as you can, close your ears so tight that you can't listen or hear what they are saying because your breakthrough is just by the corner and by listening to them you will never reach your peak at the top.

It felt really good singing that song as a child but as I grew up, I discovered more of the importance of giving the little ones a proper and sound education and training them more efficiently because the future we crave for lies in their hands and if children are not given the special attention they need to become future best leaders, they will end up becoming future worse leaders.

Each time I see a child who is suppose to be within the four walls of a school, gallivanting the neighbourhood like a lost precious diamond, it pricks my heart because that child may carry in him or her a star which others blind sighted fail to see, that child can really make lots of impact in the world we find ourselves today and that's the basic reason why we should give them the best attention possible and encourage them to become better leaders of tomorrow.

In conclusion, every child carries in him or her a seed of greatness and leadership is found is every young blood. If grown ups fail to give the little ones their support, some will end up in the streets as street thugs, armed robbers or criminally minded individuals, thereby becoming worse leaders of tomorrow but when we show them more care, love and encourage them to go to school and to be self reliant, we are indeed creating a greater force of young men and women that will take this present world we live and find ourselves in to an entirely new dimension of development, prosperity and all goodness. Let us take good care of the little ones, their future lies in our hands.
